Not sure what to say?

"Mr. Murray" (and I want to be clear that he was always "Mr. Murray" to me -- it would have been disrespectful for me to have ever called him "Jack") was a dear friend of my Father's from "the old neighborhood," from St. Ignatius High School and from the Cleveland Fire Department.

He was a fixture at our family functions from my earliest childhood memories, including my First Communion, my Wedding and the funerals of both of my parents. In my mind he was "family."

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Jack. May God bless him and his family. My deepest sympathy and love.

Jack was one of those rare individuals who could see the sunshine through the storm clouds, and made things better with that ray of sunshine he carried in his pocket to share with others. I felt better for having known Jack, and I'm privileged he shared his friendship with me. God Bless Jack!!

A great man who will be missed dearly. Rest In Peace, you were one of the best.

Jack was a delightful man. I loved getting his calls for assignments. He will truly missed. My heartfelt condolences to the Murray family. “Precious In the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.”

Humbly,

Jerri M. Jones

"Mr. Murray" taught gym to almost everyone I knew who went to St. Mark grade school, including me. He was a legand and just a great guy. Everyone thought it was cool that he was a Cleveland Fireman. What a great legacy.
The Khoury family

Mr. and Mrs. Murray ran gym classes at St. Marks and St. Chris. I was at St. Marks before they had a gym. We did gym class in the social hall. And had a blast! Thanks Mr. Murray for letting me know that the best gym class ever is one with battle ball. RIP.

Great man. Told me several bad jokes (a few good ones). One involved a horse in a bar. After that Jack always greeted me with "why the long face?" He was always upbeat and a pleasure to see. RIP my friend.
