You sound like you were a wonderful man and an amazing father. I am very sorry for your loss to John's family and friends, especially his wife Rory and daughter Alyson. I heard your story and I am glad you were able to have a loving goodbye to each other that morning. My late boyfriend shares John's birthday today. Happy birthday in heaven John, you are never forgotten. <3

Just wrote a note to an Alyson, and a pang struck, reminded of your baby girl, and YOU! Remembering you always brings a smile and a little sorrow. Happy to have had your friendship through those charmed BC years. Praying for you and yours, John, and hope to see you again.

John I cannot believe your gone. I found this sad information at our 2016 High School reunion. John and I had many laughs about the early morning cartoons. He taught me how to play Hockey with Tommy, Larry, Richard, and Mike. At Schubert we played a game call pops. Man the fun times. The thing I learned about John his heart was big and loving. Respect.
