I was a student of MAJ (R) John Nakamura. He was my Executive Officer (XO) when I attended Old Dominion University (ROTC). he was a great man with little words, but he was very straight forward when it came down to training us Cadets. I had no clue that I would return home to the Tidewater area and worked at TRADOC with him. John Nakamura was my Executive Officer during ROTC at Old Dominion University. I had no clue that he worked for TRADOC while I have been here. He will be greatly missed. He taught me so much with little words.
