Not sure what to say?

His Spirit… About 2 months ago, my dad’s oxygen technician was making a delivery and said to me, “If you or anyone else has any differences with your dad, it is a good time to make peace with him; he is using a lot of oxygen.” I looked at him and said, “No, we are all good with him.” I then began thinking and added, "I don’t know of anyone who has a problem with my dad; he is a friend to all who know him and a wonderful guy”. Dad was our hero, a friend and gentleman, and his spirit will be...

(continued)
It was also some kind of passage that before we could move out of the house, we had to know how to change a tire, and he had us practice in the street! Yes, my dad was a kind soul who protected and loved his kids. His love for travel took him to where ever his kids moved. He visited us all, whether it was Utah, CA, KY, WA and now even Basking Ridge. Last week he came to my new place and watched the football game on my new big TV. He actually came to watch me decorate my...

Bud,
Though I never had the chance to meet you, you can often judge a person by with whom they hang out.
Anney, you are a terrific person and my deepest condolences go to you and your family. Dave (aka Carmodav)

Farewell to Dad

The best word to describe my Dad is FRIEND! He was a friend not only to me, but to everyone else in this room; otherwise all of you would not be here today.

Dad was also a big kid at heart and loved to play games. He often played games with the kids in the neighborhood, some of whom are even here today. Known as “Uncle Bud”, he was always up to pulling tricks on us. I especially remember one antic of his, during our traditional Thanksgiving football game....

Grandpa, you are so very special and will always be in our hearts. Thank you for teaching me Gin Rummy, I always enjoyed and looked forward to playing cards with you, and learning those great card tricks. I also enjoyed our trips together to the horse races, It was fun seeing the horses before the race and then cheering them on. I love you Grandpa, you tough me so much, and I will miss you forever. Brandon (age 14).
Grandpa, I always loved your big hugs, and how fun you were to be around....

Tim’s Remarks at the Service for His Uncle Bud
December 19, 2006

Good morning. For those of you who don’t know me, I am Tim Neale, Bud Neale’s nephew. My Aunt Anne asked me last night if I would say a few words today, and I am honored to do so; honored because Uncle Bud, as he was known to me, and to many, many others, was one of the most important people in my life.

Like all of you, I loved him, and like all of you, I will miss him terribly. This is a sad week for...

Whats up kid?
Grandpa, you were more like a father to me than anyone else. You tought me so many things, how to shave, how to play cards and how to bet on horses...you even gave me my first sip of beer, even if it was non-alcoholic.
Everything that you have done for me I appreciate so much. You were the best grandfather/father anyone could have ever asked for.
Love,
your Patty Mac

Grandpa- You have touched the hearts of many and surrounded everyone with smiles. You have shown how to be a perfect husband, father, and grandfather to our family, but most importantly you will be known to everyone as an amazing friend. You will always be loved and missed, and will remain in my prayers. I will see you soon!

Love,

-Brian

Papa,
I will never forget all the fun times we had especially playing Gin Rummy. Whenever you came to visit us, you always asked me what Beauty School I went to and called me your favorite Granddaughter. Of course, I was your favorite, because I was your ONLY granddaughter!!! That was until Kelsey was born! Then you had two!
Thoughts of you make me smile. You hold a special place in my heart!
LOVE,
Dana
