Not sure what to say?

I just looked up Mr. Neeley on Google. He was my science teacher at Franklin High School. When driving to Seaside, I see a sign for Neeley Ranch and always think of him with fondness. So sorry for your loss. He was my favorite teacher.

John was my all-time favorite teacher. I'd come into his class totally baked and he'd gently rib me about it without making me feel judged. He introduced me to meditation and guided me through "experiments" like climbing stairs with minimal exertion. He was one of the smartest, kindest, funniest people I've ever had the honor of coming into contact with. He will be missed, but never forgotten.

Mr. Neeley was my biology teacher at Jefferson High School (1958). He was also the track coach and worked as a volunteer fireman at the Interstate Avenue fire station. That was a long time ago. . .but I will always remember his sense of humor and his
kindness.

Dearest Barbara, my sincere condolences to you and your family. Please know you are always in my heart and prayers.

John carried himself with a casual dignity.
Kindness, intelligence and humor emanated from him.
I feel honored to have known him and his family who were wonderful role models to the community.

Juan is a force that I will always carry with me, wherever I go!

I am assuming this is the John Neeley who taught biology at Franklin High School in the mid 1960s. If not, I apologize. Mr. Neeley was a very well-liked teacher at Franklin who was very approachable by the student body and had a wonderful sense of humor. I learned a lot from John. My sincere condolences to the family.

We will always remember John with his white, fisherman's knit sweater. His was a great, dry sense of humor with no pretense about him at all. He helped me coaching basketball one year and the kids loved him as they knew he really cared about making them better. RIP our friend. We will miss you. Tom and Pam
