John was a rare individual. One who, while I didn´t know him well, I considered a friend. His artist abilities were wonderful and true to nature. I was really young in the world when I meet John but he always treated me with respect and friendship. We lost contact over the years, then while in Alaska I discovered some of his carvings in a gift shop. The clerk gave me his phone number. It had been 10 years since I had last seen John. So sorry to hear about John, Nancy. He was one I considered as friend even though we spent little time together. Our time working with Westwood and our finding you in Alaska will always be in my mind and heart. John was a special man and leaves a void in this world! God bless.
