Dear Colleen, My deepest sympathy to you. Should I be able to get a ride, I will be there at the Services. May God's peace surround you at this time is my prayer.

Dear Colleen,
I’d like to take you back a few years. I helped out DJ covering her vacations in the early 80’s until she retired, and Kendra came. It was then when Kendra called me to fill in for her vacation; I mentioned that I wasn’t feeling well. Dr. Nevins had me come in and then sent me to the lab. Within an hour he had me in surgery. He had a difficult time trying to get an anesthesiologist. It was back in the days when OR would close (after a certain time) and they would go home....

My deepest condolences to the family of this wonderful doctor and human being. I thank Dr. Nevins in my prayers daily. 23 years ago he operated on my mother who had breast cancer. Today she is a healthy, happy cancer survivor; I thank Dr. Nevins for this. He also was so very kind in helping her with the cost of the surgery since she had no insurance at the time. The medical world has lost a wonderful doctor; humanity has lost a wonderful human being.
