Not sure what to say?

I only recently found out about John's passing. I grew up with him, and have many memories from Big Flats Elementary, Jr. High West, and Horseheads High School. John and I were not close friends, but having grown up with him through all of those schools and sharing bus rides, I have very fond memories of him. I am so very sorry for your loss, and I cannot believe it was ten years ago. I hope your memories of him now bring you warmth and comfort as the memories of those I've lost bring me...

My apologies- Rest in peace my old friend.

I was very sorry to come across the news of John's passing. My sympathy goes out to the whole Nice family. I was friends with John in elementary school and junior high. Although I have not returned to the area in many years, I have the fondest childhood memories of John. Rest in piece my old friend.

Dear Nice family,

I was stunned and saddened to hear of John's death. Through elementary school, Jr. High and High School, John and I were teammates and friends. When he went to SUNY Biinghamton he lived on my floor and then later we were housemates. He was a great guy with a tremendous sense of humor and always a good friend. He will be missed.

Rick, Bill, Sue, Mike & Mary: The Farmer Family is very saddened by this news and sends sincere condolences to you all. We have many fond memories of Valley Road days and time spent with the Nice Family will always remain a stronghold. Our best to you and John's family.
With sincere sympathy,
Sally, Rob, David & Debbi. may Jack & Gretchen find John in good care.
