Not sure what to say?

I am sorry to read of this; John and I came to the college about the same time and I will remember him as someone who was serious about his work but never took it too seriously.

John's gone on ahead. But we'll catch up with him later. Until then, very very sorry for the gap he leaves behind.

My heartfelt sympathy in the untimely passing of John. He was a wonderful and caring person. I will miss him.

John was a wonderful ambassador for the college and our community. He will be missed.

A great man and a great loss R.I.P

John's passing is truly a loss to the college, the community and all of us that had the pleasure of knowing him. He was a true gentleman and was always optimistic regardless of the situation. May his family take solace in knowing he now rests in God's arms. Rest in peace John.

John was an inspiration to us all. His dedication to the success of students, faculty and staff at Cumberland County College was unwavering. John's wit and dry sense of humor brought joy to everyone who had the pleasure to work with him. A true gentleman.

John was my good friend and roommate. The comment about music was dead on. Ry Cooder, Randy Newman, The Doors, etc. etc., and The Animals, who we saw together at the Steel Pier. His musical taste was impeccable and I learned a lot from him. Miss Ya Johnny Nick!

As a newspaper reporter, I had the privilege of working with John the past three decades. A real pro - but a real gentleman as well. John was one of my most favorite people with whom I worked in my job. Please know you are in our prayers.
