Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served with the U.S. Army in Europe during WW II fighting the Germans-especially during the Battle of The Bulge-the largest battle ever fought in American history. I just returned yesterday (Oct. 19) from a trip to Oregon (we took my Mom, June Barry, out to visit her sisters there). I was very sorry to hear of the death of "Doctor John" who was a beloved figure from my childhood.
