Not sure what to say?

Mr. Nielsen still comes to my mind. I have many fond memories of him. I feel very fortunate to have known him and the entire family through my family. Gone on but not forgotten.

Sending love and blessings to the family; John was an amazing man.

I served with John on the board of the American Scandinavian Foundation and on the Scandinavian Heritage foundation and got to know him well. He was one of the noblest and most descent of all men and liked by so many who came in you with his warm and comforting personality. He was truly a GREAT DANE!!!

Dear Family:
I send you love and prayers at this time as you mourn John. He devotedly loved his family and his community. John's memory, and how he made people feel, will live in the hearts of those who knew him and loved him.
Love, Charlene Jensen of Danish Sisterhood Mt. Hood Lodge #81

"I believe there's a hero in all of us, that keeps us honest, gives us strength, makes us noble, and finally allows us to die with pride, even though sometimes we have to be steady, and give up the thing we want the most."

"Du fik fred og sov ind,
men vi gemmer dig i vores sind.
For det, som du har os givet,
kan ingen tage fra os i livet."

Condolences to John's loved ones left behind.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you. My folks (Paul and Leona Tolonen) were great friends of John. He will be missed, but not forgotten.

Jan,
I have such good memories of your dad stopping by our office in the morning---always a gentleman with a smile and a good word to share. And no one wore the Rosarian jacket with more panache! He was a valued colleague and such an asset to our business community and jewelry industry.
My condolences and all good wishes to your family.

What a Great Man and Father of a Great Family. John's legacy does live on.

Delores, Jan, Linda and family.
My prayers and good thoughts go out to you with the loss of John. He was an outstanding honest business owner and civic minded person. John and Delores were great friends of my parents and they were also my god parents. I painted their house for them in 1993 and they were so active skiing and bike riding. I saw them last at the Scan fair. Sorry I will miss the memorial as I am out of town the weekend for a wedding. Truly will miss John. Mike and Laurie...
