Uncle Jack was a kind, loving man. He always had a big smile and was ready to go out of his way to help anyone. I especially remember that he would like to tell stories about when he was my (Ron) babysitter.

On my way to work this morning I was thinking of my dad and some of the special things about him. I'll never forget a conversation that turned to tv commercials during one family get-together. He said he loved those leaping scissor-women on that old Kroger commercial. My sister and I laughed about that one for days. He also loved when he hit 3 green lights in a row at the intersection of Oates Drive and 635. He was a great dad - always there when we needed him, no matter what or when. The...

John (Jack) Nierman always had a big Texas smile, a hearty laugh and a great story to tell. He made everyone feel welcome and was a favorite Uncle to nieces and nephews. We will always remember Jack Nierman and his easy going, caring nature.
