John is described as the perfect son, husband and father. He was a dedicated friend who loved playing cards during lunch, Sunday basketball at St. Emily School, playing in the Bad Dad Band, his neighbor friends, coaching every girl’s sport and walks with his best pal Winnie. His small family was the most important thing to him and the immense love and wonderful memories they share are what kept him going even when the tinnitus in his ear caused physical issues and led him to lose his silent battle with his mental health. John will be remembered most for his kind smile, helpful and generous ways, and all the love he shared with those around him.

Not sure what to say?

I’m sorry to just read about the passing of John. I knew John from my days at Bradley having shared several classes with him. More importantly, John played guitar and keyboards in a band we both played in. His creativity and passion for music inspired me.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I enjoyed working with John, he was a great leader to us and will be missed!

John, you will be missed, especially your smile, laugh and overall willingness to lend a hand. Paul, Emily and Julia, our deepest sympathy. Draw strength from your faith and all those around you.

Paula, sorry to hear of John’s passing. Our prayers and thoughts are with you and your daughters. God bless you.

My Sincere Condolences to the family.

John always treated me with kindness. He was quick to show his appreciation and considerate when asking anyone to take on something new. I appreciated his perspective and thoughtfulness.

John, you will be missed.

Single Tree

My first talk with John was about music, I will always remember him friendly and with a smile. I am very sorry for the loss of him, my prayers are with each of you.

John was a great boss, but an even greater person. I enjoyed working for him and in one more than one occasion, he rolled up his sleeves and helped me out. He will be missed! My deepest condolences to Paula, Julia, Emily and the rest of the family.
