JOHN NOBLE

To the Noble Family and to Sabina:

John was truly a very special man who gave so much of himself to everything he did. As a volunteer, he was outstanding, always a smile, joke and a compliment for others. I will miss seeing him at our holiday luncheon with his red Santa hat on. We were truly blessed to have John as part of our volunteer family for 17 years. I feel very lucky to have known and worked with him. He will be missed, but never forgotten.

John was one of my heroes after I came to The Union as a temp on the copy desk in 1981. He was a pro's pro and the epitome of "the last gate-keeper" as the late slot man five nights (and mornings) a week. Thanks, John, for your help and your ability to lighten everyone else's load.
