John S. Noiles

MANCHESTER -- John S. Noiles, 85, died Feb. 14, 2010, at Elliot Hospital, after a long illness.

He was born in Arlington, Mass., July 2, 1924, to John A. and Veronica F. (Myatt) Noiles. He resided in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada for many years. In 1962, he moved to Waltham, Mass. and later to Manchester.

During World War II, he served with the Royal Canadian Air Force.

Early in career, he was a photograph engraver with Eastern Photo Engravers, Halifax, Nova Scotia. Afterwards, he worked in the New England area for several years.

Family members include his brother, Ronald Noiles of Dartmouth, Novia Scotia; and nieces, nephews, cousins, and his companion, Elizabeth Deedy of Manchester.

SERVICES: Following cremation, a memorial service and urn burial will take place in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
