How could I know that when I met John in a professional situation, that he would become such a dear friend. I will miss his enthusiasm, his pure joy, and the smile he always wore. I will never forget the love he had for people. His kindness was unsurpassed. I am so sorry I did not know of his passing until today. But I will not say goodbye, but just so long until we meet again. I pray for strength for the Nolan family during this difficult time. You have my heartfelt condolences.

Dear Nolan Family.
I am so sorry that I did not see the obtituary or the TBA link in time to attend John's memorial service in order to pay my respects. He was such a nice man and very kind to me when I was a young lawyer on the opposite side of a case. I loved getting yearly Christmas letters about his beautiful family.
I know he will be greatly missed by you and his many friends.

My thoughts and prayers are with you, the Nolan Family. While I did not know Mr. Nolan personally, it was a privilege to work with his son George for a brief period of time. It is through this experience and reading the notice that I know that Mr. Nolan's intrigrity, dedication to his family and his values will live on for generations! An exceptional man, living an exceptional life on earth and a man which I'm sure caused a great celebration with his arrival in heaven!
Again, George and...

They say "love requires grief" - for the many, many of us who loved John Nolan, we all share in the same grief at this time. Grief felt by the loss of a man so special, simply crossing his path briefly made you aspire to be a better person. A man who spoke so glowingly of his wife Star, each of his children and grandchildren - all with a huge smile on his face. Pride just exuded from him.
He was a rare and special, deeply admired and loved. Always.
May each of us challenge...

Starr, it was so good to see you today. We are sorry for the occasion but so thankful you and John had the time you did together. We understand he was quite a gentleman and that was very good news. We are happy you had some special times before he got sick. In the days ahead know we are praying for you and still think of you often. Call us sometime soon and let's meet for lunch somewhere and catch up. You are one of our very special people and apologize we haven't stayed in touch more. Our...
