Not sure what to say?

As a lawyer who appeared before Judge Nordberg, I will be forever grateful to the respect and courtesy he showed my clients. His decision striking down Illinois laws that punished women seeking reproductive health care and their physicians honored the Constitution's command to do justice. I mourn the loss of a truly good person and a truly just jurist. My condolences to his family.

Jane and family, Our condolences upon learning of John´s death. Although we were colleagues on the District Court, we first met in 1976 when we both became Illinois Circuit Judges. He was a gentleman and a kind person. Ginger and I always enjoyed our court functions with you and John. Our best to you. Phil Reinhard

John was a terrific State Court and Federal Court judge, but more importantly, an exceptional person in all respects. He shall remain in our thoughts and prayers. Tom Demetrio & family

My sincere condolences to Judge Nordberg's family. I had the pleasure of serving as his official court reporter for about six years, and it was truly a pleasure spending time with a genuinely honorable man of integrity. I have thought of him regularly, and I shall miss him.
