Not sure what to say?

I am sorry to belatedly learn of John's passing. He was a true gentleman in the finest sense of the word. I met John when he was president of the Milwood-Kalamazoo Jaycees, and we spent many enjoyable hours together sailing, playing cards and cheering on Notre Dame's football team. Although I lost touch with him in recent years, he will remain firmly fixed in my memory as a fine and gentle person. May he rest in peace.

We were shocked and deeply saddened by Johnny's passing. I wish that we could have had an opportunity to see him again before losing him. Our sympathy to all his loved ones and family members.

We will miss our neighbor and friend!

Dear Northrop Jr. Family,
While reviewing the obituaries we saw that of John and we began to make all the connections, especially to the children. Our children along with the Northrop children all shared highschool experiences together. John was a joyful, caring person who loved his family. We extend our prayers and sympathy to all of the family,

Sincerely,

Barb and Vic and the Ceru Family

I'm still in shock! I can't believe your gone :( I remember he ALWAYS had a smile on his face when I saw him. John was a good man, father and grandfather. I remember his obsession with feet! Lol. God has gained a good man. R.I.P

Our visits with John were way too infrequent and short but we have fond memories of him. So sorry for your loss.
