He had a great passion for our business and integrity that couldn't be matched. Dear Mrs. Northrup and family. I was so shocked and deeply saddened to learn about John's untimely death. He was my first childhood friend whom I met 58 years ago when my family first moved to Lynnfield. I have the fondest of memories bouncing on the bed together during an overnight, collecting baseball cards together, playing Little League baseball for the Dodgers, sledding to the "open field" behind his home in Lynnfield, and in later years playing tennis together. Melissa and Jake my condolences to you and your family. We loved being with you and John at all the ball games over the years and will miss his warm smile and concern for our family. He was so happy to be at the games and reveled in Jake's success and your lovely family.

I will miss the friendship that I've had with John since our years together at Salem State. He's a great guy that always made time for his family and friends. My deepest sympathies go out to his family on their loss.
