I flew many a trip with John Nyquist and he was absolutely one of the Best pilots and most humorous guys I ever flew with... When, he would see me.. he would immediately start singing the TOLEDO fight song for Univ of TOLEDO. as that is where I went to Nursing School.. and of course, I am a Buckeye as well. He could also immitate Johnathan WINTERS to a T.. and the Passengers.. absolutely.. thought it was Johnathan flying the airplane.. WHAT A TRIP !! LOL.. I know for sure where Capt. Nyquist...

I'm so very sorry to learn of Mr. Nyquist's passing. I offer my heartfelt condolences to the family, and I pray that they will find comfort in the knowledge that there will be a glorious reunion in Heaven one day.

I did not know Captain Nyquist, but I do know his daughter Karen, Karen has always been there for us Aircraft Mechanics at American Airlines DFW, my condolences to Karen and family, May the love of your friends and family surround you and fill your heart.

John was so likeable and a pleasure to know, plus a true professional. Just a nice guy to have around.

What a fantastic person to be around. And to think we grew up only a few miles apart in Ohio. Bless his entire family as I am sure they miss him terribly, as will all who knew him.
