I know Father O'Brien rests in peace. For over 50 years, every since he arrived in Waukegan, I've been bless to know him...What a mentor, what a friend, always there when you needed him...in person or by phone. You are missed; but your example and words remain in my heart. Blessings and prayers for the members of his family who are still living. I know how he treasure you. Sister Kathleen Hayes, OP

We mourn the loss of our dear Fr. John O'Brien. A great mentor and spiritual director since 1958. We will always remember the good times and your sound advise. We'll miss you, but know that you'll always have a loving place in our hearts.
