Not sure what to say?

Dear Eileen and Family,

Nancy were so saddened to hear of Jack's death. I read of it in the Society newsletter. Jack was always so kind to us. I looked up to him because to me he was the epitome of the best in law enforcement. Please accept our deepest condolences.

Eileen,
Both you and Jack have always felt like family to us. You made us feel so welcome when we lived at Heritage Oaks. We missed seeing you on a daily basis after our move. I looked forward to bumping into you while running errands. We adore both of you and just wanted to say how sorry we are to hear of Jack's passing. As everyone knows, he was so full of life. Our hearts go out to you and your family.

Eileen & Family: Your husband and father was one of our dearest friends. We worked with; socialized with; played soft ball, hand ball and football with Jack for several years in San Juan & Tampa. We fondly remember cutting a hole in your roof (for a vent) and replacing the garbage disposal. Jack was a special man who loved his family and loved life. The world needs more Jack O'Flahertys.
Jack & Beth Sheridan

I believe Jack was one of the first FBI agents I met after arriving in Tampa as a young Immigration Agent in 1976. "Gentleman Jack" introduced me around and we developed a lasting friendship over the years. We played basketball together and I saw him from time to time during his retirement from the Bureau, during his legal career and at gatherings of mutual friends. He was always the same, smiling and upbeat. I always admired him and still do. He truly is a man I won't forget....

So sorry to hear about Jack, my husband & I worked with him in the Tampa office in 1969. We remember him as a sweet funny guy! Our condolences to his family.
