Not sure what to say?

We were all saddened to learn of the passing of Brother John. We held him in very high regard. His warmth and intelligence were truly inspirational. We wish we could be there now to celebrate his life with the rest of the O'Brien family. Our hearts and prayers are with you all.

We were so sad to hear of the passing of our dearest Uncle Marty. He was the BEST uncle and friend to my family and was so loved. He traveled all the way to Texas a few years ago to witness my daughter Shannon make her First Communion and also came out here to sponsor my son Nicholas for his Confirmation. He will be so greatly missed. We love you Uncle Marty and know you are in the most awesome place right now where you deserve to be. Heaven has just received another angel. ...

I am so sad to hear of the passing of my dear Brother Martin who I always loved dearly. We had many conversations through the mail and on the telephone. Our Parkinson's Disease was always in our conversations.
I want to extent my sincere sympathy to the rest of the family and he will always be in my thoughts, prayers and in my heart.

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself … any man’s death diminishes me". We are sorry for your loss.
