Not sure what to say?

Dear O'Connor Family,
As a resident of Chestnut Street in Kenilworth Gardens in Wilmette, I frequently had the delightful occasion of walking from the train with John O'Connor. We always had an enjoyable conversation, discussing the problems of the day. I especially enjoyed his wit and trenchant comments about the issues of the day.
I missed him when he and Carol moved from Wilmette to Northfield, though I could count on seeing them at Mass during Lent at Ss. Faith,Hope and...

To the O'Connor Families,
We will all certainly miss your dad's charm, wit, and intelligence. As one of the gang that grew up with Ellie, Mr. O'Connor quietly organized a benefit for my family when our dad died. He was a gentle, wonderful man who was even more fun when we were adults. When I picture him, I will always have a smile on my face.

My deepest sympathies go to the entire O'Connor family. I've had the pleasure of knowing John for several years both as a customer and fellow wine-lover. He was always the consummate gentleman and an extremely caring and giving person. We've all lost a real gem.

I have been a law partner of John for 30 years. When I started with the firm in 1972 John was one of the partners who mentored me initially. He was a delight to work with, the complete professional and always a gentlemen. He will be missed by all of us. My deepest sympathy to his family.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire O'Connor family, particularly Ellie, our sister-in-law and Mary Ann, our good friend. John will be greatly missed by all who have met him.

We had the pleasure of meeting John when we were seated next to him at a parish dinner dance. He was one of the most handsome & charming men!

Our thoughts are with the O'Connor family, especially Mary Ann, who so very recently took time to share a milestone with our family.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the O'Connor family during this difficult time, especially to my dear friend, Ellie. I know that her father's was a life well-lived, and that to die surrounded by loving friends and family must have meant much to him. Please know that I'm thinking of you all, and hoping that it won't be long before the happy memories you have of your dad overtake the sadness of this time. Fondly, Kim
