I just recently heard about John and I couldn't believe it, I was numb. To John's sisters and Sheryl: We were so saddened to just learn by reading the Mountain Times of "John Boy's" passing. Although our paths haven't crossed in Killington for many years, we have very fond memories of meeting him on the mountain beginning more than 30 years ago. To the family and friends of John,

On behalf of my brother and I, we are really saddened to hear about this loss. When I click into my bindings this fall, the first run will be in memory of John.

We were shocked to hear about the untimely passing of John. A legend has moved on to share his carisma with others beyond. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time ... He will be missed.

This is a loss to all of us who had the pleasure of meeting John. My thoughts are with his family at this time. He made a mark where-ever he went and will truly be missed by many more people than you can ever know.
