Not sure what to say?

O'Halloran family - please accept my deepest condolences on the loss of Jack. I have only just now become aware of his passing. I was a classmate at Norwell High and enjoyed him tremendously…

Dear Family and friends of Jack,

So sorry to hear of Jack's passing. I got to know Jack through our cigar group, HCF. I hung out with Jack in Boston, and Jack stayed at my house when the night grew to long for him to ride back to the Cape.

Jack was on of the funniest people I knew, he had that dry sense of humor and a quick wit, and was generous to a fault.

I'm gonna miss Jack, and I'm so glad I had the chance to know him, he was a great guy.

I had the pleasure of interacting with and reading Jack's thoughts on a cigar discussion board. I will always remember his comical wit.

To his family, I offer my deepest condolences. It is without a doubt Jack will sorely be missed. May his soul rest in eternal peace.

Dear Family and friends of Jack,

I had the opportunity to meet with Jack on several occasions in Florida through a Cigar group that we both were members of. The photo of Jack that my friend Dr. Bill Haley provided was one of those evening. We talked, laughed and joked throughout the evening. Jack's wit was quick, his humor deep. Jack was generous with everything he owned; his time, his humor, his love of life. It was with a very sad heart that I found the world missing a special...

"Jack was a friend of mine." A very simple sentence, but it says a lot. I knew him for about four years or so. He appeared on our website for cigar smokers around that time, and he quickly became a guy that people LIKED, even if they only knew him through the things he posted on the site. But our members often try yo get together for a cigar when we find ourselves in each other's home towns and that's how I wound up meeting Jack. We would all get together to smoke cigars and eat,...

Enjoying a cigar

Dear family and friends of Jack,

I have known Jack for several years through his interest in cigars. Jack was a very active and well respected member of an online cigar forum, where people from throughout the world met to discuss the enjoyment of fine cigars, as well as their interests in sports, politics, and other matters. Jack went by the name "Wolfe Tone" on the cigar forum, and he was known for his love of fishing, the Boston Red Sox, and his liberal politics.

Jack was one of the funniest and most witty people I knew. I often thought he should have worked in Radio or written comedy. I have excellent memories of fishing, working and just hanging out with Jack. A great guy.

Jack will be sorely missed by our family. He helped me when I needed it most. During times of surgery and re-hab. A most wonderful person that will always be a part of our life. David & Pamela Reeder
