Not sure what to say?

Ralph and I just learned of Mr. O'keefe's passing. You were one of our first neighbors and friends on Bulls Run Parkway. We admired and respected the O'keefe family and speak of them often. Every time I pass the white house with the blue shudders I always think of Mr. O'keefe standing in the doorway and waving hello. He will be dearly missed. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Natalie and Ralph

I consider it a gift and a pleasure to have known Mr O'Keefe, and his family, especially the Lovely Loraine. Our sessions together, always preceded and ended with Hail Gonzaga ! were a pleasure and joy. The sight of him in his letter jacket made me cry as each of my sons still have theirs, and I wonder if when they are his age they will still wear it with such pride.
I am certain he is having a beer with the good Fathers Novotney and Dooley as I write this.
God bless them, God...

I am very sorry to hear of Johnny's death; he was a very nice guy and a pretty good bowler, I hear. That's the Ocean City people talking!
God bless you all,
Rose Mary Boteler McAleer

It is with great sadness I learned of John J. O'Keefe's passing. While there will undoubtedly be a great welcoming celebration at Heaven's Gates...for those who had the pleasure to have known him, even briefly as I did, his positive spirit and smile will be missed here on Earth. My thoughts and prayers are with Mrs. O'Keefe and your wonderful family.

Our deep sympathies are with the O'Keefe family during this difficult time. May you find peace and comfort in the memories of your loved one.

Gabriela Doyle and Family

We lived next door to the O'Keefe family on Bulls Run for a decade. Although I was little, I remember Mr. O'Keefe as a kind and smiling presence. My thoughts are with the family.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. I have such fond memories of Johnny when he visited with us in Massachusetts 50 to 60 years ago, and watching him play football at Holy Cross.

Bill Schromm Winchester, Massachusetts

My deepest sympathies to the O'Keefe family.

He brought a smile to all who met him and will be deeply missed.
