Not sure what to say?

Lauren, Mike and the O'Rourke Family: I spent many happy hours singing with Mr. O'Rourke over the years, and a finer Irish tenor would be hard to find. His smiling blue eyes and gentlemanly demeanor made him a pleasure to be with, and I will fondly remember the fun times we had in the basement at the O'Rourke house during those great parties that Lauren threw in the 80's. With sincere love and gratitude for having known such a wonderful person, love Maureen Fallon

John,
My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Mrs.O, Sharon, Robin, Susan, John & Lauren,
I was sad to hear of John’s passing. Good guys are hard to come by. My prayers and thoughts are with you. While John will be missed, he won’t be forgotten. Just close your eyes and you can hear the gentle humor of his voice or see the smile on his face and the twinkle of his blue eyes. I fondly remember life and many good times with John and each of you at your Cottage Street home in the 1960’s and 70’s. It was wonderful growing up with you as...

John is in God’s loving arms now, but he had angels on earth and their names are Mike and Lauren. Mike, we think you are the kindest, nicest man, to so lovingly care for our beloved Uncle John. We are glad you and Uncle John had such fun together!

Lauren and Family:

We are so sorry to hear about your loss. You are all in our thoughts!

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

John was a friend of our O'Brien family for more than 50 years. My parents, Bill and Dorothy O'Brien were always happy when they were with John and Dorothy. He was a great host, a sparkling personality, and a wonderful person. He will be greatly missed. We are sorry for your loss.

I have been blessed with the opportunity to be John's friend the past few months-I found a loving, quick witted, fun man, and I will always remember his beautiful smile when I first approached him. His big blue eyes always seemed to be smiling. I know he is smiling down on everyone now. I will miss him. Thank you all for allowing me to be part of his life. With sincere sympathy.
Love,
Marge Thomas
