Not sure what to say?

John and I shared our youth together - as first cousins.
I am so sorry to hear of his passing, and my wife Moira and I both want to extend our sincerest condolences to his extended family.
In the 1940s, when I would visit John and his sister Frances and their parents at their home in Inglewood, California for a few days, or when he would stay visit my mother's home in Glendale, California, we would spend most of the daylight hours playing cowboys or Marine heroes shooting at "enemy"...

Please accept our deepest sympathy for the passing of Uncle John.

We too knew John through our love of cars at the PCA-SAR. We will miss his infectious smile and willingness to help. Our condolences and prayers to the family.

Uncle Jon always lived life! I will always celebrate those memories and what they taught me. Thank you Uncle Jon.

As noted, a simple "car club" does a darn good job of bringing folks together from varied backgrounds. I live in the Los Angeles area and John and I met for the first time just a few months ago when I was a judge for his first-time experience with his car in a concours d'elegance. Jon and Emily and family,
Sincere sympathy in the passing of your father. I enjoyed John's humor and his fun loving approach to life. I will miss seeing him at the tracks and other Porsche activities. He always was very willing to help. His enthusiasm for life was contagious. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I knew John through PCA, he was always cheerful and ready to lend a hand at the track, as well as serve as the treasurer. A kind and gentle man, he touched many lives and will be missed, and he made the world a better place on his way through.

I really enjoyed knowing John through the Porsche Club activities. He was
a real Renaissance man and will be missed.
