John Odam

One of the most decent man I ever knew. He helped me as a young lawyer. Somehow Elvis is still withus. Always a smile and a hand to others that needed help. He made the world a better Place. Godspeed on his next journey. Love and prayers from the Hammond Family.

Dear Odams, Extended Family, and Loved Ones, My condolences to all of you on the passing of John. I was very young (pre-k, I think) when I knew y'all and don't remember him very well, but I remember Matthew and Paige and how kind they were, and I know that kindness came from loving parents. God bless and godspeed to you all.

Paige and Matthew, I was sad when I read about Peggy some months back, knowing that John would suffer without her. I remember the day he came to work at Helm Pletcher. Don Bowen said, "You watch. Someday John will hold a high political office in Texas." He was such a wonderful person - so caring, funny, and fun to be around - and handsome, too! I know you are missing your Mom and Dad. God bless you and your families.
