I was saddened to learn today of John's passing. I am so, so sorry.

Dear Eileen, Annie and Timothy I am so very sorry to hear about the passing of John. I knew John because we were classmates at Our Lady of Grace in Brooklyn. Whenever we had a class party in the afternoons John would always bring his keyboard and play for us, even then his love of music was apparent. Anytime we had a party at school, John would always bring his keyboard to play for us. He was a very nice person and liked by all his teachers and classmates. He will be truly missed. So sorry to learn of his passing. He was a nice friendly man, a great family man and good friend. He will be missed.

So sad to hear of your loss. I knew John thru the many Michael Feinstein performances I attended where John was present as the arranger and conductor.
