Not sure what to say?

To Margaret and family,
My deepest sympathy to you and your family. It is strange how lives cross. I knew Jack at Eastern and your Dad at the federal court, but never realized the connection. Those of us from the USDC who knew Jack from Eastern hold all of you in our thoughts and Jack in our prayers.

Margaret: Truett and I again extend our deepest sympathies, and we are very sorry we could not get back to Miami from Atlanta in time for the services for Jack on Monday afternoon.I am reminded of Jack's absence from our offices every day, and together with our recent loss of Barbara Daniel as well, John Sicilian, Ron Bevans and I share a very deep loss without their daily presence and companionship. It is a lonely place indeed, but I prefer to remember all of the good times we shared...

I am sending this acknowledgement for Minnie Copeland, our sympathy to you, May God bless you all.

I only had the pleasure of knowing Jack for the past five years via my work with him and John at the Estate of Eastern Air Lines, but like many, considered him a good friend. The fond memories and stories related by his childhood friends at the service were a comforting view into Jack’s past. Of the many things I’ll always remember was the way he could diffuse the tension in a room with that “Jack grin”. My condolences to Margaret, the children, and the family.

Jack was always a true gentleman -- in the office as well as outside.
His departure, at the prime of his life, is a huge loss to all who were lucky to have known him.
My sympathy to Margaret & her lovely children.

Donal.

What a "Gentleman"! May God rest his soul until we meet again. I pray that God comforts his wife, Margaret, his children, his entire family and his friends throughout this trying time. May the remembrance of "Jack" live on in us forever.

I met Jack when he was at Eastern Air Lines and worked with him when he was at Pan Am, as well. He was a bright and thoughtful guy who had a good disposition even when a situation was difficult. My sincere condolences go to his family. He talked about you with much affection, even in a business setting.

It was an honor and absolute pleasure working with and learning from J.J. during our days with EA, PA and SU. His patience and thoughtful ways have no doubt left their imprint on me forever both personally and professionally. Both Cindy and I wish Margaret and family nothing but the best of wishes.
