Send FlowersJohn T. Ogle, 68, of Anderson, passed away October 13, 2009 at Community Hospital after an extended illness. He was born November 22, 1940 in Anderson and was a lifelong Anderson resident. He was a correctional officer at the Pendleton Correctional Facility and a member of the American Legion. He served as an MP in the US Army from 1962 to 1965, and was station in Germany. John is survived by his wife, Patricia (VanNoy) Ogle; three children, John T. (wife, Lori) Ogle, Jr., Lisa Martin and Clint (wife, Melissa) Ogle; eight grandchildren, Thomas Ogle, Kristi (husband, Kirk) Horton and Kassandra Ogle, Tabatha Berryman, Patrick Berryman, Sarena Clarkson, Alexis Clarkson and Daulton Clarkson, all of Anderson; several great grandchildren; sisters, Norma Partlow and Sandy Quirk; brother, Fred (wife, Lisa) Ogle. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Rosamond (Burton) Ogle; granddaughter, Katrena Clarkson; and a sister, Carolyn Mann. Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Monday at the Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home with Pastor Rob Mifflin officiating. Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery where military graveside rites will be conducted by VFW Post 266.
