Pam and the family:

Dangit! We just learned about Johnny's passing. Please accept our condolences on the loss of one of the finest people our family was blessed to meet. He fills our memories of the family's time in Charleston, and even now I can't think about him and Daddy swapping fishing stories without smiling.

So sorry to read about Johnny's death. We send our sympathy to sister Estelle and the family. Claude and JuAnne Weeks

On behalf of the family of the late Charles E Ward, I extend our sincere sympathy to the Ohlandt family. I would like Henry and Beth to know they are in our thoughts and prayers.May God comfort you at this sad and difficult time.

Saddened to hear of Johnny's passing. He was an exemplary citizen of our great community and his efforts to preserve the Morris Island Lighthouse certainly changed the conversation about the importance of Lowcountry preservation initiatives.

Dear Dr. Ohlandt,

I was so sorry to read of your father's passing. Although I didn't have the privilege of knowing him, he clearly was an extraordinary man and I know you will all miss him very much. My thoughts and prayers are with you and all your family at this difficult time.

I was very saddened to hear about Mr. Ohlandt's passing. I will always remember him with quick wit and a loving smile. He had a love and appreciation of music and life few people have the chance to experience. I wish only peace and prayers for the family for he will always be remembered.
Sincerely,
Laurie Weeks Crosby
