John Algoth OHLSON

Thank you, John Ohlson, for 50 consecutive years of elected service on the Yolo County Democratic Central Committee. Your experience, humor, intelligence, perseverance, and wisdom helped many a newcomer to local politics, and your loyalty to progressive and peaceful values enriched us all. I am so grateful to have learned from you and know that you and your beloved wife, Grace, are now joined in eternity. Rest in Peace after a life so well lived.

John was a hero to me. When Jesus says to love our enemies, John interpreted that to mean that we are not to kill them. I appreciate the contribution John made to the Quaker community and to the Democratic Party.

Our sincere sympathy to Mary and Nils and John's entire family. There are no words to describe the love and respect we had for your Father. He was that friend that we are all lucky if we have just one of in our lifetime. We will miss him tremendously.
