Not sure what to say?

I just saw this notification. I'm sorry to hear of Mr. Oliver's passing. I remember him from his days at Olympic View Elementary. He was kinda stern with me, but of course I deserved it. He never gave me a "hack," even though I had a couple of them coming. :-)

Condolences to his family and thanks for his many years of service to his community.

Everyone agrees that John was a very, very nice man, thinking of others, with a good sense of humor. I sang with him in a men's harmony group in recent years ("The Smoothies") and he was terrific. We will all miss him. Condolences to his family.

I love your family so much. I am so sad to hear of his passing.

Mr. Oliver was a kind and good man. He helped me when I needed it and encouraged me to do my best. Rest in peace, Mr. Oliver.

John Oliver hired me for my first music teaching job and was a kind and loving mentor to me for many years. He always helped whenever asked and I loved him dearly. I will miss him greatly.

This really saddens my heart. Over the many years I think of him and wonder how he was doing. I attended South Bay Elementary and remember Mr. Wilson as a kind hearted man. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

Mr. Oliver was a kind man and dearly loved by the students of Olympic View. As a Kindergarten student I was intimidated but in the 4th grade I adored him. I knew I was safe when Mr. Oliver was in charge.
