Read MoreI got the chance to spend my days with John for a short time as an aide at Tranquility, one time when his family had come to visit they played "My Way" and I got to see John relive his younger days while singing along. He was an amazing man with a wonderful singing voice, he will be missed by many.

John used to come to our house in Midland in the early 1960's after playing golf with my father. He was a very nice guy, I remember him very well. RIP John.

John and I became friends back in the 60´s playing golf at Genesee Hills in Grand Blanc. We were part of the regulars on Saturday and Sunday mornings. One year he talked me into joining Davison CC with him. I got transferred to Duluth in 1971 and we kind of lost track of each other. John was a great guy and good golfer and lots of fun to play with. Very sorry to hear of his passing.
