I have only the fondest of memories of my dear Uncle Jack. We laughed about the storied Redskin/Cowboy rivaly, he taught me to eat frog legs, and brought me so much laughter when I needed it the most. I know he is with my father now, as they do their famous evening cook outs. He had such a calming influence in his conversations with me. I suppose I picked up a bit of my work ethic from Uncle Jack. I have so many great memories of Jack and loved him very much. Rosemary, I think you should have "his chair" bronzed in his memory. :) Our thoughts are prayers are with you and Doug today, sorry I couldn't be there.

Jack was a very special uncle who added spirit and laughter to my life. His charm, sense of humor and passion for life made him such a unique member of the Overbeck family. To me, he was so very much like his brother and, in his own way, filled the void when I lost my father, his brother Bill, 27 years ago.
