John Overmire

I got to know John through his sister Mary. He always was a gentleman. Such a gentle soul. He certainly loved his family always checking up on his families. Willing to help as well. I have been away from the family but do text Mary and her heart is truly hurting. Don't you worry John is just up there catching up on his beloved Wife and Son. He will "stop by" to check in just like he always did. You can count on it I'm sure. May God Bless you all. Oh and Mary.....I'm sure he will stop...

I remember John from grade school at Holy Name. We went to Godfrey School for kindergarten then Holy Name Catholic School.

We are grateful for all the ways John graciously cared for our Mom, his neighbor. We would often talk to him when we stopped at Mom´s and loved his spontaneous laugh! John will be missed by the Boone family. We look forward to a reunion someday in our eternal home! Gene and Heidi Boone

God gave me the most remarkable gift of John as my neighbor. John was always there to help me in dozens of different ways, never expecting payment, always looking for things he could do to help. I will never forget his kindness to me. Laura Bartleson
