Not sure what to say?

Godspeed Dr. Paardenkooper. How fortunate we were to have you care for us. How you loved Connecticut River Shad!

When I was a child I used to tell my mom that my ear hurt so I could go see Dr Paardenkooper just to sing him my "ABC´s" What a great man he was. The giant that he was would get down on one knee to my level just to listen to me. The world is lacking in those kind of dr patient relationships today. Rest easy in Heaven Dr. Paardenkooper, I hope some little girl is singing her "ABC´s" to you up there

Dr Paardenkooper delivered my daughter in 1966! I was 20, first child, and very nervous. He was calm, kind and down to earth. I was walking down "memory lane" with a friend today and mentioned Dr Paardenkooper. I am sorry to hear of his passing.

Erana my deepest and sincere condolences to you and your family.

I am so sorry for the loss of Dr. John Paardenkooper. He was a wonderful man, and Physician. I always felt like a person not just a patient. May he rest in peace. Praying for strength and peace for the family during this difficult time.

Dear Paardenkooper Family, Your father and grandfather was a great doctor and friend to my family. Your mom and dad were friends with my parents and my Aunt Dot and Uncle Frank for as long as I can remember. From my family to yours, we wish you peace and healing.

So very sorry to hear of Dr. Paardenkoopers passing. He was our family Dr until he retired. Back in the day when Dr´s went to the hospital for rounds, Dr P would stop at our house & do a house call if one of us was sick on his way home from rounds. They don´t make em´ like him anymore. A true gentleman & wonderful Dr. We will always remember his love for Shad & the Shad Shack. My thoughts are with his family at this sad time.

So sorry for your loss my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family

So sorry for the loss of Jan. I have fond memories of when we were all kids.
