Not sure what to say?

Having now reached 90, I feel fortunate to still be vertical and able to again make a few prayerful comments regarding my dear pal Jack. Being quite confident Jack has a well deserved place in heaven , I now have the hope that, at the Lord's pleasure, the two of us will have a heavenly reunion and our friendship shall renew as we serve the Lord for eternity. Continued blessings to Nancy and to all of Jack's children, his grandchildren and his extended famliy as well as to his sisters ( my...

I reaffirm my last two entries. Jack is still in my heart , thoughts and prayers where he will remain. All of us who knew and loved him are fortunate.

I renew all my previous thoughts and comments and in particular my prayers and love for my dear pal Jack and his family.

While memories fade my love and respect for this good man remains strong. I am pleased my first entry into Jack's Legacy Guest Book resulted in a renewal of my long ago acquaintance with his sister Lorraine and a new friendship with Jack's delightful and devoted sister Joanna. I renew my sympathy to the two of them and to his wife Nancy , and to all of Jack's children , grandchildren and extended family. And Jack, may you continue to rest in the peace and love of the Lord which you so deeply...

Dear Jean and the Augustin Family,
We are so sorry for the loss of your father. We are praying for you and your entire family. May God grant him eternal rest and give you consolation. – Love, The Finneys

Dear Jack,
Unlike Tom and Jerry, I do not remember you as a kid, or a high schooler. You were 16 when I was born. The first memory of your wit and wisdom I recall is us in the hallway at home by the basement door - I was screaming and you said you couldn't hear me. The louder I screamed, the more you "couldn't hear". When I caught on, and started talking quieter and quieter, you held your ears and said to stop screaming...Another fond childhood memory is the day we went to visit Vic, and...

He lived across the alley on Troy St. in Chicago. A skinny red head a few years too young to tag along with our gang in the hood, but we let him hang out anyway because we liked him. Thank you Jackie for serving our country with such distinction and may God bless you and your wonderful family. Tom Croke , Glenview,Illinois

Dear Family:
My memories of Jack are those of two good pals living a few doors from each other. During WW11 we would walk the alleys together "going junking" and looking mostly for disregarded but needed material for the war effort (rubber - tin etc.) We would often hike the 8 blocks up to Marquette Park and search for lost golf balls around the links.
Though Jack was 3 years my senior he treated me as an equal which I appreciated. When I reached high school years and made the...

Gene and I have been blessed by your friendship. My heart aches for you Nancy.
I will be remembering you both, especially in my prayers.
