Not sure what to say?

Mr. & Mrs. Painter, Jim & Mary, I can't tell you how sorry I am for your loss. Jack was a good friend and although we lost contact over the years, I will never forget the days growing up next door to you on Lake Shore Drive. We were friends at a time in our lifes when you didn't have to worry about things too much, oh to have those times back! So many things I would like to say, but just know that my thoughts and prayers are with you now and always. Jack will be deeply missed,God Speed...

To the Painter family - I'm so very sorry to hear of your loss. Jack was a mentor to both me and the hundreds of young Coasties at CAMSLANT during the last 4 years. We could always call Oceana Radio 24/7 for technical/personal advice... He will definately be missed by many in the USCG... - CWO3 Vern Tuss-

Just wanted the Painter Family to know how sad I am to hear of Jack's passing. We were class mates at FHS and he was always so nice! I had just asked him to be a Facebook friend...unfortuantely a few days too late. You're in my thoughts.

Please know all of you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Tom and Leslie Momeyer, Fairview, PA

To the Painter Family-
We wish to tell you how sorry we are for your loss. My husband, Jay, and I went to school with him and although we went our separate ways, we still feel the hole he will leave in the Fairview High School alumni. Our prayers are with you.

To my Dear Fiends Bob and Martha-- I can not come close to imagine the sorrow---my heart goes out to you in compassion and love.
Bob - I remember when you proudly introduced Jack at Rotary when he had been under the sea for six months!

Aunt Martha, Uncle Bob, Jim, Mary, and Marie - I can't even begin to tell you how sad I am to hear of Jack's passing. We just connected on Facebook after so long. My heart is just breaking and I can't even imagine what you are going through. Wish I was with you to give you hugs and kisses. Love Carol (Momeyer) Bearce

John was a very sweet man... just heart broken to hear of his loss. My heart goes out to his wife, Marie, family and friends and his sweet cupcake. He will be greatly missed.
Sincerely,

Tasha Bangert

To Mr. & Mrs. Painter, Jim and Mary:

I am heartbroken to hear that the first friend I ever had has passed.

A ton of good times have rushed through my mind:

Jill the dog, riding the brush hog tractor, climbing trees, Martha's PB&J sandwiches (with butter! mmmmm), the Crosley, Jeeps, Lake Shore beach and walkin' around the neighborhood, jammin' on guitars (we were terrible), camping out in the back yard, and just being able to hang out and not say a word.
