John Papageorge

Debbie, Carol and family, John occupies many of my Airline High School memories. My father got transferred to Germany before my senior year which was the year John went off to college. This was 1974 so we kept in touch through letters and sending tapes to each other. He always made me laugh and I respected his steady spirit. He lives on in my heart and mind as I know he does yours.

I miss #33 and always will. Nick

I am certain you do not remember me, but we met once or twice in Oklahoma and Houston. I worked for John for the summer of 1982 as an intern in the Sohio office.

I have so many fond memories of those days and of working with John. He instilled a real love of engineering in me and that experience led to me having a 36 career at BP.

I met John when I was a sophomore at Airline High School. We had a lot of fun adventures together over the next couple of years. My father was in the military, stationed at Barksdale AFB so I had to call the gate security whenever he came on base. They got to know him pretty well after a couple of years entry.

The obituary is such a tribute to John's life! I pray that the good Lord will wrap his arms around you with sweet comfort. It is a blessing to know his fight is over and he is in his heavenly home.
