Not sure what to say?

Johnny was a really nice man, a long time friend of my family who grew up with with my late uncle Richard Franklin and my late mother Jean Sama (Franklin). He was an awesome mechanic who helped me out many times fixing my many cars for very little charge. He was a great cook and wine maker! I will miss him dearly! Most of all, he was a great friend and advisor to me! Rest in peace spreader! Much love always!

So sorry to hear of your Dads passing. May God comfort you.

Vera, John and Pam, my sincerest condolences for the loss of Johnny Pape, as we knew him as one of my father's best friends from the early 1960's keeping Dad's old cars running. A trip to his garage at 3rd and Holland was an amazing experience of automobile repair, homemade wine, gripes about local politicians and laughter which I continued as long as he worked there. A lot of memories from his full life.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

FAMILY, MY DEEPEST SYMPATHY ON YOUR LOSS. JOHN J ALECCI

John would know what was wrong with your car as soon as you pulled in his driveway. My wife brought her 67 skylark in for something I forget what and John told her that her "tappets" were bad. No testing- no electronics -just his ear and experience. Not many mechanics around like that any more.
Sorry to hear of his passing.
