John B. Parker

Wow. I am so so so sad to hear of John's passing. I have no idea why I decided to check up on him two days ago, via Google. Karma, unfortunately, has led me to more than one of my dear dear friends, but just a little too late.

I was in the Management Services department of Arthur Young in the late 1970's, and John was of course a senior Tax Partner. I think it was happy hours after work with mostly Audit and Tax folks that led to my friendship with John.

John and Leslie were a big part of my life in the roaring late 80's when I was just getting started in commercial real estate. He was so smart, very generous - and treated us to many nights out where we roared with laughter! He was one of the good ones and will be missed!

I have wonderful memories of John. He was very helpful to our family in business matters for over a decade. In addition to his remarkable expertise in this area, I enjoyed the person behind the knowledge. I will miss knowing he's around.
