John Parkin

John was a stickler for accuracy & efficiency as I learned through our exchanging christmas cards down the years. He possessed a gift for writing and was always able to convey his message as he surely did in his poem "Good-By". He was a man of character and humanity. He was proud of his family and his nice little wife Cyle and the fact that they remained together for over 65 years. I'll miss them both. I'm proud that John claimed me as a friend. Love, your friend

It has been years since I have seen y'our parents Susan but I was your baby sitter back in the late 40's in Mar'shfield. I have thought of them many times in the past years. You and Todd have my sympathy and blessings and I'm sure you will miss them deeply. They were the best people I could have baby sat for and you and Todd were my favorate kids. Part of my daily Internet ritual is to check the website of The Marshfield News Herald. I was so sorry to see your dad’s obituary. In the late 60’s, early 70’s we lived on Arlington St. in Marshfield and were neighbors of your parents. We have so many fond memories of them. During that time we helped on your father’s campaigns in ’70 & 72. We aided in sending out postcards and going door-to-door passing out handbills.
