Not sure what to say?

Dear Shirley and Vicki,
Our family had so much fun for years with the Hackneys and Saddlebreds. I have so many wonderful memories of horse shows, riding at the barn and his funny, corny jokes. He will be very sorely missed. He truly was an incredible gift to the horse world.
Please know that you are in our prayers.

Shirley, You and Rex gave so much of yourselves to the Saddlebred Industry. Rex will be missed by all. You were always one of our favorite couples. Jane Herbert

Rex was my inspiration and mentor in the Road Horse Association. I bought my first Road Horse Cotton Chopper from him. He and Shirley always helped me when they could. Joanne, Joanna, and I will miss him dearly. My prayers are with all of the family. He was truley a friend to all. Bill , Joanne, and Joanna Kuehl (Scottsdale, Arizona)

Shirley, please know that I am thinking of you and holding you dear. I always enjoyed talking with Rex. He was quite a spirit.
Sincerely,
Stacey Wright

Shirley:
My heart goes out to you. Remember all the good times and all the great things you and Rex did together for the show horse and the fun you had showing all those years.
He will be greatly missed but I know he is at peace.

Our hearts are sad for you but we remember so many gifts both you and Rex have given all of us over the years. It began with a call from Shirley in the early 80's offering our son, Ethan, the harness that Be High's Carry On Lady wore when you showed her .The impression you made for an 8 year old began our history with Hackneys. We remember Rex asking Ethan how he got Carry and how he laughed when Ethan told him that he had seen her picture and made an offer to the Penningtons and their reply...
