Not sure what to say?

I knew Lou when we were small children and lived next door to one another in Durango, Colorado. We both ended up being Municipal Judges for a while and remained good friends for life. Lou was a wonderful story teller and time spent with him was always full of laughs. He will be missed.

If Lou was your friend you were so fortunate as he was both loyal and steadfast. He was a great neighbor, father, friend, golfer, humorist, storyteller....and of course a husband to his Betty! He was helpful to me and my family over many years. I know his loss will leave a huge hole in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who knew him.

I give my sincere sympathies to Lou's family. His family always meant a lot to him and I know he will be missed by them as well as many others who knew him.

If I had to pick the top five people that have had a positive influence on my life, Lou has to be included. Lou was his own person and will remain an inspiration to all who were lucky enough to have crossed his path. Since we can't have him back, all I can do is recognize his...

Lou was compassionate and kind, and he told some great stories. He was a person one remembered. I will miss him. My sincere condolences to his family.
