Not sure what to say?

In 1974, I was a student in Mechanical Engineering at NC State. I was fortunate to get a part-time job as a draftsman at L. E. Wooten and Co. I can remember like it was yesterday that my first drawing assignments were "inking" plumbing risers for Norman. As I learned more, he gave me more responsibility to design systems while checking closely that I was "getting it right". He was always meticulous but NEVER overbearing in his review. Eventually, I gravitated to HVAC design and worked...

John & Family,

I did not even know of your dad's passing until today. I send my thoughts and prayers to you and the rest of your family. One thing is for sure, he is in a better place where there is no hurt and pain. Remember the good times you shared, and know you will all see him again.

God bless you all!

Brenda,

Darlene and I were very shocked to hear of Normans passing. He was a wonderful person and a great Civitan. Our prayers go out to you and your family. We did not hear the news until yesterday and could not make the funeral. Please except our apology for not attending.

Bill McKenney, Governor North Carolina District East Civitan

Our sympathy to you and your family.

Brenda, you will be in my prayers. Cherish the memories. Dale Sauls

Norman is clearly a man whose faithful legacy will live on in his family, his church family and in the many lives he touched. My prayers and condolences are with my former coworker Jon and his family.

There are no words that I can say to ease your loss. I am truely sorry for your loss. Norman was a true friend, a kind friend and a good man. I will charish the good memories that we have together and I will miss his wonderful laugh. He liked to laugh.
It was about a year ago when Norman learn that our son was dianosed with a rare cancer. He called me and told me that God has a plan and that I need to keep my faith. I have lived his advice. I do know that Norman and Anthony are now free...

You all are in my thoughts and prayers. To have raised such a fine son as Jon, I am positive he was a wonderful, wonderful man!

Thinking of all of you!

Praying for His grace and comfort for you all.
