My condolences to the extended family of John Parsons, Jr. He was always known to me and my parents, Joe and Betty Parsons, as "Jackie" so we didn't confuse him with his father, "Uncle Jack" to me. Fond memories of early morning breakfast at 436 Myrtle St. in Petoskey, Michigan during hunting season and of trips to Morley and hunting camp in the big tent with the wood burner. My parents loved Judy and Jack very much and our family has many fond memories of reunions in Grand Rapids and of...

Grandpa Jack there is no other like him. I will always remember going up to the land in the summer on the weekends, Grandma judy and him would come pick me and Julie up and we would go berry picking and just listen for the whistle cuz that was our cue to get back to the trailer lol. There are so many memories of him grandMA judy and my mom (denise) I can't even mention them all. He will be missed dearly. But he is home with his wife and daughter love u grandpa jack

Jack was a very special man. He and his wife, Judy taught me the truth about "family." Family isn't about blood, it's about love. Yes, he was a tough disciplinarian, but he was full of love, and always a broad smile and huge guffaw laugh. He loved people. He loved life. His kids and grandchildren were the most important things in his world. I watched him a scout leader, dog trainer, and lover of children - his or not- for years. They don't make 'em like "Grampa Jack" anymore. I love him. He...
